This spouted tea bowl 片口茶碗 has a spacious interior and gently curving walls, whisking is effortless. This bowl handles 100ml and vigorous whisking without spillage. 

Hand-made in Kanaya金谷, Shizuoka 靜岡縣, by 2nd generational potter Rito Aoshima 利陶 青嶋.

Shitoro-yaki 志戸呂焼 is a traditional style of Japanese pottery dating back to the Marumachi period(14th-16th century.) Characterized by warm earthy glazes, iron-rich clay, and wabi-sabi aesthetics of beauty in imperfection.
