Gekkō 月光 - moon light, moon beam - Named for its soothing glow amidst the night.
This specialty class Houjicha unifies sweetness and light umami with comforting roasted flavors. By an awarded producer in Gokasho, Uji-city, Kyoto.
Blended with the dark roasted thick stems of Samidori, medium roasted thinner stems of Asahi & others, and lightly roasted competition grade leaf veins and core.
This awarded producer creates some of the finest competition and specialty class Matcha we have found.
Tasting notes: Smooth, sweet, toasted yet light with complexity.
Recommended brewing ratios: 75 - 95c. 4g : 200ml
