Hanami 花見 - Named after joyous gatherings beneath cherry blossoms, Hanami is easy to enjoy, in many occasions and prepared as different drinks.
Grown in the eastern mountains of Uji city, shaded for 24 days, this stone-milled Matcha blend is based around Samidori. Intended to provide robust flavors, easy to taste Umami, and pleasant light bitterness with minimal astringency. The high quality tea leaves and fine grind quality contribute to a creamy mouthfeel.
We enjoy this energetically green Matcha as a lightly sweetened Latte.
Tasting notes: Velvet, Chocolate, Dark greens
80c/176f: Recommended to extract both delicate flavors and umami. Fit for diluted use such as Iced tea, Matcha latte.
75c/167f: less pronounced intensity, recommended for Usucha, Iced Tea, Matcha latte.
